Becoming an Accredited Biomechanical Taping™ Practitioner (ABTP) is an excellent way for clinicians and practitioners alike to learn how to effectively use Biomechanical Tape®, understanding the theory underpinning it, develop techniques of your own and successfully integrate its use into your practice. This product covers virtual delivery of the product but you can find a face to face version here. The course is divided into three parts:
Part A will introduce you to key concepts underpinning Biomechanical Tape™. You’ll build your clinical reasoning and get to understand the basics of developing new techniques.
Part B will build on this foundations laid down in Part A, covering advanced concepts, examining in further depth topics including pain science and mechanosensitive tissue and exploring techniques for the ribs, spine, SIJ and more.
Finally Part C will bring in even more advanced techniques, such as pre and post natal taping and the impact of load and movement, and explore how Biomechanical Taping™ synergises with other movement related topics including Kinetic Control.
